The UV aging test chamber can simulate the damage caused by sunlight, rain and dew to the material. UV uses the translucent ultraviolet (UV) lamp to simulate the effect of sunlight, and uses the cold simulated moisture rain and dew. The material to be tested is placed in a cycling procedure of alternating light and moisture at a certain temperature. UV can reproduce the outdoor hazards that occur for months to years after several days or weeks of testing. The hazard types include fading, discoloration, loss of gloss, pulverization, cracks, turbidity, blistering, embrittlement, strength degradation and oxidation.
Comply with ASTM G53-77 specifications GB, GJB, MIL, ASTM, CNS, IEC, JIS, AATCC, DIN, Fed Test, BS, SAE, GB/T14522-93 ISO04892-3:1994
UV aging test chamber, fluorescent UV lamp of UV lamp can reproduce the influence of sunlight, and the condensation and water spray system can reproduce the influence of rain and dew. The temperature is controllable throughout the test cycle. The typical test cycle is usually ultraviolet light irradiation at high temperature and dark wet condensation cycle with relative humidity of 100%; Typical applications include paint, automobile industry, plastic products, wood products, glue, etc
UV aging test box is widely used in paint, ink, resin, plastic, printing and packaging, aluminum profiles, adhesives, automobile and motorcycle industry, cosmetics, metals, electronics, electroplating, medicine, etc.
Main features:
1. Simulate sunlight
The ultraviolet ray in the sun is the main factor that causes the durability damage of most materials. We use the ultraviolet lamp to simulate the short-wave ultraviolet part of the sunlight, which generates little visible or infrared spectral energy. We can choose UV lamps with different wavelengths according to different test requirements, because each lamp has different total UV irradiation energy and wavelength. Generally, UV lamp can be divided into UVA and UVB.
2. UV lamp type
UVA-340 lamp tube: UVA-340 lamp tube can perfectly simulate the short-wave ultraviolet light in the sunlight, that is, the wavelength range from 365 nm to 295 nm at the cut-off point of the sunlight.
UVB-313 lamp tube: The UVB-313 lamp tube emits short-wave ultraviolet light that is stronger than the sun's ultraviolet light that normally shines on the earth's surface, thus accelerating the material aging to the maximum extent. However, the lamp tube may cause unrealistic damage to some materials. UVB-313 lamp tubes are mainly used for quality control and research and development, or for testing materials with strong weatherability.
UVA-351 lamp tube: simulates the sunlight and ultraviolet light through the window glass, which is the most effective for testing the aging of indoor materials.
